ENGLISH
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is my favorite books because it captures what high school really is. It doesn't give some allusion that it perfect. It goes through a story of a boy who doesn't quite know where is place is in the world. He meets friends, he has fun, he has some struggles. The ending gives a complete twist to the story, a major shock.
I can’t be sure of what my strengths were in this class, but I don’t think I had any weaknesses. My favorite part of this course was probably reading A Raisin in the Sun. It had a very interesting plot that kept me captivated the entire time. I did not enjoy reading Anthem by Ayn Rand, the story line didn’t catch my attention. When we had to write our vision of a different world, was one of my favorite assignments In this assignment, we had to write a paper, based on what we thought the world would be like after the apocalypse. The final project for A Raisin in the Sun, was another memorable assignment. For this assignment, we have to do a collage, an essay and a letter on the character of this choice. In my next English class, I would like to see more books and a more the kids actually paying attention in the class.
